TRUST COUNSELOR (To Reach Ultimate
Success Together) conducts counseling sessions to facilitate the
mental health needs of students and classroom activities to promote the
intervention and prevention of substance abuse. She is also a crisis
specialist, assisting students in crisis by helping them to identify and
resolve problems. She assists parents by providing them with knowledge of
community resources available to them.
CAREER SPECIALIST serves as a liaison
between the school and the community. She links education to the world of
work through classroom activities that give students a knowledge of the
necessary academic preparation and vocational training needed to plan for
their careers.
SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER provides a range
of services including home visitation, psychosocial histories, student and
parent referral to community agencies and individual counseling. The
school social worker works closely with the counselors and teachers to
monitor and improve attendance. |
